Insurance
Even if you don't qualify for legal aid, there are other methods of financing a case which my help you:
- Legal expenses insurance: Check your household and motoring insurance policies. You may already have cover for your legal costs.
- Motoring organisations: The AA, the RAC, and similar organisations offer members a free or fixed cost legal information service. Contact your organisation, or check your membership records.
- &quo;After the Event Insurance&quo;: Even where you do not have existing legal expense insurance, it is sometimes possible to obtain after the event insurance, which protects you when or after you become aware of the need to take legal action to protect your interests.
